Binion's Horseshoe Hotel and Casino

Binion's Horseshoe has been famous since 1940s. Its founder Benny Binion came to Las Vegas from Texas and built a joint boasting the highest table limits in the world at that time.

Horseshoe casino is the place where serious gamblers come to play. It doesn't pay much attention to entertainment - just good cheap food and gambling. The casino is the home of the annual World Series of Poker in April and May. The final event has a $10,000 buy-in and a $1-million first prize.

The 21 tables of the casino are always packed and a single pit holds eight craps tables. Blackjack players will be cheered by the number of tables with single-deck games and old-fashioned rules, in spite of the $10 minimums.

Those who have difficulties with tobacco fumes, will probably prefer to go to other casinos.
