Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS) is almost on the Strip - just 1 mile (2 km) from the south end of the Strip to be exact.

McCarran Airport has two separate terminals:

Short & Long Term Parking - On Airport

Short Term Parking fee at McCarran Airport is $0.25 per 10 minutes. The maximum stay is 3 hours, which is charged at $4.50.

Long term Parking is $3.00 for the first hour, and $1.00 for each hour thereafter. The daily maximum is $10, and there is a maximum stay period of 30 days.

Remote Parking is also available, with a shuttle bus to transport passengers to the terminal building. The first hour is $2.00, with each hour thereafter being charged at $1.00. the daily maximum is $8.00.

McCarran Airport transfers

By shuttle van: this is the cheapest way from McCarran to your hotel. The ride is shared with 8-12 people, and costs $4-$5 per person to the Strip, $5-$7 to downtown, and $5-$21 to outlying "local" casinos. The vans wait for passengers outside the terminal in a marked area, near the cabs. The vans stop at many of the major hotels, so it is not the best mean of transportation if you're in a hurry.

By taxi: the metered taxi waiting for your arrival at McCarran Airport are the quickest and the most convenient way of getting to your destination. The fare is $2.70 on the meter when you get in and $1.80 for every mile, plus an airport surcharge of $1.20. The trip to most hotels on the Strip should cost $11-$18; the trip downtown should be about $20-$25.

As you see, it is even cheaper to take a taxi if you're not traveling along.
